ClearContact is an Ireland-based communication facilitation service.

Our service allows customers to submit necessary communications for review and onward transmission to another person. Messages may be reviewed and edited to remove unnecessary, inappropriate or non-essential content before being sent.

7. Children

ClearContact is intended for use by adults.

Information relating to children may sometimes form part of legitimate co-parenting communications, for example information concerning arrangements, education or appointments.

Customers should provide only the information reasonably necessary for the communication.

8. Who We Share Information With

We may use trusted third-party providers to operate ClearContact, including providers involved in:

  • website hosting;

  • online forms;

  • payment processing;

  • SMS/message delivery;

  • email;

  • IT and technical services; and

  • professional or legal services where necessary.

These providers may process personal information only as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to applicable data protection requirements.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or a competent authority.

Some technology providers used by ClearContact may process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area.

10. How Long We Keep Information

Messages submitted to ClearContact, together with associated recipient contact details and delivery information, are normally retained for up to 30 days following delivery. They are then securely deleted unless we are required to retain particular information for longer due to a legal obligation, dispute or other legitimate reason.

Financial and transaction records may be retained separately for the period required under Irish tax and accounting law. These records do not require us to retain the content of your messages.

11. Security

We take reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.

However, no internet-based service or electronic communication system can guarantee absolute security.

12. Your GDPR Rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • access personal information we hold about you;

  • request correction of inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of your information;

  • restrict certain processing;

  • object to certain processing;

  • receive certain information in a portable format; and
